Printing receipts is a manual process that takes our volunteer staff a lot of time. Additionally, the cost of postage for a single letter is $0.55. If a donor would like to get a monthly receipt they just need to send their email address and identification to the finance contact above and we'll make sure they're emailed a receipt.
No, Unless a member has provided a method of contacting them on their profile we will not share their personal information based on our privacy policy
Yes, GNS is registered as a 501(c)(3) under the Internal Revenue Code making us tax exempt and allowing all donations directed towards our organization to be tax-deductable. We provide annual written acknowlegdments for donors' tax records.
If your donation was by mail and you didn't provide us with an email address this is normal and you can expect your donation receipt to be sent out at the end of the year. However, if you are concerned it may of been lost you can contact finance@gnsnow.org and they can look into the matter.
No, unless you are a member and have recieved donations for your cause. We are an organization that is focused on distributing donations provided from donors. We ourselves are a not-for-profit and don't have money to give. If you would like, go ahead and join as a member.
