How membership works
As a member of Gospel Network Support, donors can give to your ministry through GNS. We process those donations, honor donor designations to the best of our ability, and then distribute funds to you in keeping with IRS regulations and our policies.
Registered 501(c)(3)
GNS is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. We are required to follow certain rules and guidelines set by the IRS and other government agencies.
Donor acknowledgments
We send annual written acknowledgments to donors for their tax records. We honor donor designations as closely as possible while retaining ultimate control of the funds, as required by the IRS.
Administrative costs
To cover administrative expenses (software, website hosting and upkeep, postage, etc.), GNS withholds a small percentage of each donation. The remaining funds are distributed to you for your ministry.
Tax reporting to members
Each year, members receive a 1099-MISC reflecting what has been distributed to them. Members are responsible for their own tax preparation, including self-employment taxes where applicable.

We provide a profile page on the GNS website so donors can learn about your ministry, see where you serve, and get updates.

Your profile will include various ways to give, using quick and easy donation forms and methods handled through GNS.
Donation processing
We process donations on your behalf so you can focus on your mission, not on building and maintaining financial systems.
Communication support
We help provide a simple structure so you can keep donors informed about your ministry and how their support is being used.
