Pastor Jean-Claude Blaise has been involved in pastoral ministry in Haiti since June 1991. He is married to Louisenie Vixamar and they have two sons.
He is the Pastor of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Grand pré, a small community near Milot and Cap Haitien. There is work underway to build a larger sanctuary, and a need to expand the school and open a health clinic in Grand pré. Additionally, the church supports a health clinic in Morne pelé.
Pastor Blaise works as an evangelist, preaching in churches, crusades, radio, and television in several cities in Haiti. Church planting is a primary focus of Pastor Blaise's ministry along with mentoring pastors and leaders in those churches. He has planted two new churches in the past three years.
His prayer is for a spiritual awakening in his community that could have an impact throughout the country, which is suffering.
